A ripe and mature bouquet of dried apricots, honeysuckle, roasted macadamia, butterscotch, peanut brittle and intensely smokey, with just a hint of that ginger-like spicy note. Rather weighty, with a creamy texture, that is finely balanced by firm acidity. Lengthy finish. Offers much more than a premier cru....superb quality and elegantly presented. Rather evolved now, recommend drinking within next 8 - 10 years to enjoy this wine at its peak (if kept well). 17/20
