14 Feb 2011: Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!

Ivy: Hong Kong; My name is Ivy. I live in Hong Kong, a city of opportunities and at the moment, it favours those who are wine lovers. I started the journey of learning about wine in 2002. It has been a very enriching experience: visiting wineries and vineyards, tasting interesting wines with fellow wine lovers, and meeting some really great people. I gained the WSET Diploma qualification in 2009. Along the way, I also gained qualifications from ISG and The Wine Academy of Spain. Having set up our own boutique wine business which features our own label white burgundy and other DAKA selected wines (www.dakafinewines.com), I now work full-time for a UK headofficed wine merchant(www.armit.co.uk). In my spare time, I am a part-time wine educator, a profession which I have grown to enjoy as you can learn so much more while you're teaching. The more I discover, the more I feel inspired to share, learn and experiment. I would like to share my discoveries and experiences with all those who love wine and enjoy life on this blog: Vinum et Vita!
